This year’s budget covered a lot of ground. Measures ranged from helping lower income families cope with inflation to making it easier to use RESPs and RDSPs. Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland also included green tax credits to encourage businesses to invest in green technology. And while the Government made it easier for business owners to transfer their corporation to their children and to plan for retirement, some measures may impact wealthier Canadians.
